This time the creative process went backwards, because the work was commissioned. The collector liked the formal solutions of the collage "Dutch Memory II", but he dreamed of other colors; and the ones he chose reminded me of Mexico. Not that I know much about Mexico or Central America, but everyone has some idea about it in their head, and associations from fine arts go straight to music and cuisine. Hence the title referring to the piece of one of the most recognizable musicians from these regions - Santana.
