The work is based on a memory: my sister and her six-month-old son slept on the floor in my attic on Christmas Eve, because the baby was wriggling a lot that night and Mom was afraid he would fall out of bed.
The blanket with red, blue and white patterns is the blanket I was brought home in after I was born. There is a lot of emotion in this painting.

In 2026, at SaatchiArt's recommendation, Samsung included the painting in its Samsung Art Store collection, which will be available for selection in a digital gallery and displayed in "Art Mode" on The Frame TVs worldwide.
